Wayne Butterfield

Wayne Butterfield is founder of STX.AI, a boutique consultancy helping technology startups sharpen market positioning and operational efficiency. He spent a decade at ISG — as Director of Intelligent Automation, then Global Head of Intelligent Automation Solutions, then Partner for AI, Automation and Contact Center Transformation — and was named the firm's Mentor of the Year in 2025. Before advising he ran operations: Head of RPA, Back Office and Digital Service at Telefónica UK, Head of Digital Service Innovation and Transformation at Telefónica, and General Manager of Digital Care at BT. An early RPA adopter from 2010, he built one of the first enterprise-scale RPA operations. Based in Tampa, originally from Leeds.
